Transporting an urgent shipment of gas sensors across the Globe

Our time critical charter experts in Beijing were tasked by a freight forwarder with transporting a shipment of gas sensors from China to London. The client urgently needed the parts to meet the deadline to win this bidding, and so with less than 48 hours, our team got straight to work on a rapid solution.

Our Solution

Route: Shanghai > Beijing > London

Service: Trucking, onboard courier

We worked quickly, confirming an initial plan within just six minutes. Though the client had initially requested a direct service from Shanghai to London, the team leveraged their local knowledge, suggesting the consignment fly via Beijing, where customs clearance is quicker.

Utilising our industry contacts, we arranged for the sensors to be trucked to the airport, where we had an onboard courier waiting to accompany them to London.

The gas sensors reached the UK in good time, ensuring the end client’s production line remained in action.
