The team in Houston devised a solution within just four hours, seamlessly combining an aircraft charter with a ‘next flight out’ service to move the urgent parts across the Atlantic.
Liaising with our colleagues in Air Charter Service’s cargo division, we sourced an Antonov AN-12 to transport the pallets from Barbados to Houston. Our logistics experts then arranged for the cargo to be moved to a bonded warehouse, before being loaded onto a scheduled flight to Angola via Frankfurt.
At the very last moment, the client needed to add a piece of hazardous cargo to the consignment. We worked around the clock to ensure the necessary regulations were complied with so it could travel with the rest of the parts.
